Il sistema di trasmissione Dab+ dal 2020 è integrato su tutte autoradio ma pochi sanno esattamente di cosa si tratta e quali vantaggi comporta. Il 13 febbraio ricorre la Giornata mondiale della radio e quindi si celebra l’anniversario della prima trasmissione radio dell’Onu nel 1946. È quindi il momento ideale per fare il punto sulla diffusione della tecnologia più all’avanguardia: il Dab (digital audio broadcasting). Tra gli argomenti sul tavolo dell’assemblea della Lega di Serie A svoltasi a dicembre, c’era il progetto di una radio nazionale. Si tratta di un progetto radio digitale (DAB nazionale e IP) di cui si erano lette anticipazioni già diverso tempo fa e che ora sembra in dirittura d’arrivo. Un progetto importante per due ordini di motivi: il primo, naturalmente, per la matrice del promotore; il secondo perché, per la prima volta, un’iniziativa radiofonica aperta ad un pubblico vasto nasce prescindendo dalla FM.
